Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals

Finally a casualty to the rains……. Billed to be a tough match between the Master Batsman Sachin Tendulkar, skipper of Mumbai Indians & Magical Bowler Shane Warne, skipper of Rajasthan Royals, the spectators on the ground & on TV from all over the globe were in for a disappointment, as rains played the spoilsport.
Finally the match had to be abandoned without a ball being bowled, with points getting split.

One of the reasons to choose South Africa to host this edition of IPL was the factor of rains. It was believed that the other option, England would have heavy rains around this time, whereas SA was entering winters. However, the rain Gods seem to be chasing IPL all over, & till now, quite a few games have been disrupted due to the weather. The team to suffer the most from this has been Kings XI Punjab.
Let’s hope the rains find some other destination & sun smiles over the lovely grounds of SA & we are able to witness exciting contests ahead.
