ICC World Cup 2019 - South Africa vs West Indies

Rains played spoilsports for the match between South Africa & West Indies at Southampton, after a brief start. South Africa put into bat, were wobbling at 29 for 2 in 7.3 overs, when skies opened forcing the players back into the dressing rooms. Making use of the overcast conditions, Sheldon Cottrell plucked the two wickets, as the Windies looked good to tear into the Proteas batting.
After a wait for more than six hours play was called off & points split between the two teams.
South Africa have finally opened their points score, but it will be a miracle for them to come back into the tournament from here on - & the team as of now is not looking in any shape to recover.
West Indies are in the middle of the table & face hosts England in their next match - a big one for both the teams to establish dominance in the tournament.
